Why I Help Others Rock at Work

We all have those friends who “like” us but don’t necessarily “get” us. Many of my closest friends think I’m crazy as I appear to be driven by an invisible force to keep working. I admit that I love what I do. When I’m not rocking my work at Signature Performance, I’m sharing ideas and helping others get ahead in their work.

The pace I keep to some might be considered intense, but I do it for some precise reasons. For me, coaching is a calling almost spiritual in nature. It’s not that I simply like to help others; it’s more like a part of who I am. I believe it’s in part how God created me. You know, called to share the Good News, and help others rock at work.

The problem I’m solving

Engagement at work is at an all-time low because people no longer find meaning in their work. As an executive coach, I equip you to become more capable, confident, and credible, so that you’ll be free to find meaning in your work and love your life.

What this means

Engagement at work is being fully present and connected to the mission, vision, and values of the organization you are serving. When you are fully engaged at work, you position yourself and your company to win. I love seeing others thrive at work. When you disconnect from the meaning of work, your engagement level at work decreases. That’s when you get stuck in a rut, and average bites you in the butt.

Strengths-based and Positive

For me, the CliftonStrengths assessment is the best way to identify your natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. I start all coaching with this assessment because I’m convinced that there is not a better tool for success in the world. Over 22 million people have taken this survey, and it’s valid, reliable, and impactful. It does not tell you “if” you can do a job, it tells you “how” you best do the work. By applying your strengths daily statistics prove that excellence in life is possible. When you perform in distinction, that’s what I call rocking your work.

The three C’s of success

Through the coaching process, we start to identify your talents, cultivate them into strengths, and then clarify your patterns of high-performance. Why? Because your natural patterns of high performance once named and deeply understood can be repeatable. This is how I help you to get more capable, confident, and credible at work. When you’re rocking it at work, you are free to love the rest of your life. I’ve not ever had a job situation I’ve hated and been content in life.

  1. Capable – understanding your strengths and using them every day will naturally raise your engagement level at work and free you to do your best work. You become a go-to person people can count on because you deliver with excellence. Knowing your strengths and your stuff improves your performance levels and increases your capability.

  2. Confident – The world rewards confidence in every situation. Would you go to a doctor who is not confident in her knowledge of health? Heck no, and neither would I. When we are using our strengths every day, the wins stack up, and we become naturally more confident. Confidence leads to momentum at work. John Maxwell says, “momentum will solve 85% of all our problems. Wouldn’t you be thrilled to have fewer problems?

  3. Credible – Using your strengths daily and rocking at work is only the beginning. We also must help others to do the same. When we give away what we learn through coaching, we instantly gain credibility leading to a higher level of responsibility. When it comes to personal growth and development be a river of information and not a dam.

You see, for me, being a coach is not an option. The world needs more leaders, like you, who know how to get things done and the power of their talents and strengths. I do what I do because I love people and seeing friends rock at work. Engagement at work is at an all-time low because people no longer find meaning in their work. As an executive coach, I equip you to become more capable, confident, and credible, so that you’ll be free to find meaning in your work and love your life.
